a male friend of mine is 40 years old and has had a constant white blood cell count for many many years. He was originally given a medication (which he cannot remember what it was) and cortisone. He also stated that in the sun he gets red spots on the sides of his face, little on the forehead, chest and upper back. He is a heavy smoker too. What could this be given the above symptoms? I know is not a lot to go off since we do not know his other blood test results. He doesnt have any inflammed lymph nodes.
