What Could Cause Flared Up Lumps On Mouth Roof?

Hi, I was sick for most of yesterday and now, when I eat it becomes very painful with lumps flare up on the roof of my mouth. At first I thought it was a certain food but now I think it is after being sick or drining alchol? It seems to last a couple of days, is there anything I can do to reduce the affects? Thanks

thanks for your query, i have gone through your query, the lumps on the roof of the mouth could be because of the tooth infection leading to periapical or periodontal abscess or it can be because of minor salivary gland tumor. consult your oral physician and get it ruled out. take radiograph of that region like IOPAR and occlusal radiograph. i hope my answer will help you. take care.
