I am 14, female. I am a very paronoid person, especially when it comes to health related. Whenever I feel like something s wrong with my body, I start to panick and I spend hours and hours searching it up in the internet. One day, I could feel my heart beating really fast after I ran up the stairs. Out of curiosity, I decided to check out my heart beat when I was at rest. I got like 90-100 something. I thought it was normal at first so, I just ignored it. However, today I had health class with my teacher and he said an average heart rate for girls is 70 beats per minute. We tested our heart beat, and everyone got like 50 s, 60 s. But, I got 94!!!!! Now I am really scared. I didn t do anything harmful to my body, and I am so scared right now. I am also really scared of hospitals so, I am scared to go to the doctor to see what s wrong. I don t exercise at all though, except when I have gym class at school. Maybe that s why? Because I don t exercise much? But, my friend is much worse than me. She doesn t exercise at all. Yet, she got 52. I don t understand what s going on, please help.
