What Could Cause Bronchitis?

Hi, I am otherwise healthy 34yo female. I have bronchitis and have been on antibiotics now for three days. I get this weird chest flutter, where it feels like my heart is being fast and I have trouble breathing. This has occurred three times today. What could be causing this?

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Bronchitis is inflammation of airways.
This causes bronchospasm and this spasm is the reason for chest tightness and breathing difficulty.
You are not improving because you are not taking complete treatment.
Bronchitis is mostly caused by infection. So antibiotics are fine. But to relieve bronchospasm, you need inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS).
You are not taking these inhaled drugs and hence you are not improving.
So better to consult pulmonologist and start inhaled treatment for bronchitis because inhaled drugs are mainstay of treatment for bronchitis.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
