What Could Cause Blood In Stools, Urge For Frequent Passing Stools With History Of Having Colostomy?

I have a colostomy for a few years now..but for some time now in a certain time time of the month I get the urge to go to the toilet for a bowel movement..a discharge has occured and occasionally there has been blood..what could be the reason for this?

Hi dear i read ur problem of blood in stool and increased frequency to desire the toilet. First of all u dont clear that u r either suffering from constipation or not.The consistancy of ur stool is hard or greesy.
THERE MAY BE PROBLEM OF ANY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING.
PILES-IN THIS BLOOD COMES AFTER PASSING THE STOOL IN FORM OF DROP BY DROP OR SPLASH FORM.
FISSURE-IN THIS BLOOD COMES IN STOOL IN THE STRAIGHT LINE LINNING ON THE STOOL.
FISTULA-IN THIS BLOOD MIXED WITH STOOL OR STOOL COMES ALSO OTHER THAN ANUS.
INVESTIGATION-
1-Hb
2-GBP
3-PROCTOSCOPY
4-BMFT(BARIUM MEAL FOLLOW THROUGH)
in my suggestion first u go the anorectal surgeon for dignosed it .Take prevention to escape from constipation.
U r frequent urge to pass stool indicates for colitis but first u go to anorectal surgeon.Then reply me what happens and then tell u another life style modification
