What Could Cause Bloating And Belching?

Hi.... I have just had a knee replacement under epidural and mild general anaesthetic. Iam now taking regular paracetamol and naproxen to control the pain. For the past week since surgery I have felt nauseous, no appetitive and cannot sleep for trapped wind and constipation. I have knocked off the pain killers and am now just taking paracetamol. Will this wear off, I feel so bloated and cannot stop belching the wind! Thanks

The effects of the narcotics should wear off within a week. Remember to drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration, and you may take probiotics to help with the gas and bloating.
