What Could Cause A Menstrual Irregularity?

Hi, I missed by periods this month. My doctor suggested me to undergo ultrasound to confirm if I am pregnant. I also did UPT and it was negative and my ultrasound also showed negative result. Doctor suggested me to take Megagest SR 300mg for 5 days. I have taken it for 5 days and It is more than 3 days and m still waiting for the periods to come. What does that mean? Kindly help n reply

Hi, it takes 1 to 2 weeks for periods to come after stopping the pill. It is a progesterone which is given to support implantation in case you are pregnant or it will induce periods if you are not pregnant. Periods can delay sometimes due to stress also. hope I have answered your question.
