What Could Be Wrong If Diagnosed With Basalpneumonitis And Havig Coughing And Vomiting?

Hi, I'm Mahalakshmi from TN, India . 36 yrs female diagonised as SLE. and taking medications as per Doctors advise. Now for the past 15 days i'm suffering from fever .The fever starts by around 14hrs and will be continued till next day morning 7am and the temperature will be at 100*F.

And i was advised to take a chest x-ray . and found an impression on my left lung as lt.basalpneumonitis .

For the past 2 days I'm getting giddiness and vomit all the food I had .

kindly advise what the problem I'm into. Please.

I can understand your concern.
SLE (systemic Lupus erythematosis) is an autoimmune disease. Immunosuppressive drugs are given as treatment. And hence patient with SLE is immunocompromised and prone for lung infection.
So possibility of pneumonia is more in your your case.
Pneumonia is considered as severe form of infection. It can lead to blood borne infection (sepsis).
And sepsis can cause vomiting, lethargy, weakness, hypotension, Giddiness etc.
So prompt treatment of pneumonia is needed in your case. You need intravenous fluids, antibiotics and other supportive drugs.
So better admit in hospital and start appropriate treatment.
