This seems to be stye. In our lids, there are glands of Zeis & meibomian glands. These get blocked. Then these get infected & swollen. This leads to stye which causes severe pain. Take following treatment

. Oral antibiotics for 5-7 days

. Analgesics 2-3 times a day for 3-4 days

. Hot fomentation with clean dry hankerchief

. Apply antibiotic eye ointment to eyelid
Don't neglect it. Sometimes neglected stye cases may develop severe lid edema with pain, fever, etc. This is called as orbital cellulitis. In this case, one may need oral antibiotics for longer duration & hospital admission for intravenous antibiotics
