What Could Be The Reason For Vomiting Blood?

I'm 18 years old, I'm really small and short, I'm 87 lbs and I am 4'9". I have been really weak and nauseated, when I'm sitting down I feel really lightheaded like I'm going to pass out. I get the chills a lot and I'm always shaking. I vomit maybe once a week or every two weeks because I try to fight the feeling. When I do throw up it's always a dark pink color and white chunks, I sometimes see some blood in my vomit and I feel like there is something stuck in my throat. and my stomach is always hurting. I never really thought anything was wrong with me, but now I'm a little concerned since it's been going on for months now.

Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal.

Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query

As of now without examination it would be very difficult to say what you may have. I would consider the following conditions in your differential diagnosis
peptic ulcer disease
throat mass
gi mass
liver conditions like hepatits
congenital bilirubin disorders
worm infestations
food allergies

I think you should get the following tests done on priority
UGI endoscopy
Usg abdomen
LFT
Complete hemogram
PT/INR, aPTT

I would suggest you meet a gastroenterologist at the earliest possible

I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above so i can be of help further. Best of luck.

I have given you the answer to the maximum considering the information provided. The results of the tests could further enhance my answer to you.

Please do understand that some details could be extracted from a detailed history and examination.

Looking forward to your return query with the details asked so that I can help you further.
