Recurrent viral infections are quite common it can happens 6 to 12 times in a year. Those who are with low or compromised immunity are more prone for such infections.
Your child has just came out of hospitalization. His nutrition and hygiene to be take care of.
Iron and multivitamin supplementation .
He should also be investigated for Koch`s infection also.

Pediatrician, Neonatology Dr. Uma Rajah Ananth's  Response
Hi,

If your 2 old is going to daycare or nursery and plays with other kids ,he can get different kinds of infections.

Strip pneumonia is bacteria ,now viral.

This happens in small infants up to 3-5 years of age.

If the infections are far more frequent ,one has to think of immunodeficiency.

Good luck
