What Could Be The Reason For The Bright Red Blood Mucus From The Vagina Having Missed Periods And Was Inserted IUD Recently?

I had paragard iud inserted November 15, 2013, started a regular period November 22nd. I haven't had a period since and have really just been feeling off. Today I noticed bright red blood tinged mucus on the toilet paper after I wiped. Is this something I should be concerned about? What are the possibilities of what it could be?

First of all i would like to tell you that paraguard is a non hormonal device that contain s copper
Ya there are chances that the inserting the device can make the cycles irregular But you should not ignore the that contraception fai;lure can occur .Please consult your gynoecologist and get your urinary pregnacy test done . If that is positive it could be implantation bleeding . in that case there is nothing to worry about for your gynoe will decide the course of action after thorough investigation . Till then take care
