General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The problem with your back is now affecting your legs. Initially there was mild compression of nerve at the back but now it has increased leading to numbness and pain in legs.
MRI of lower back is needed to find out level of compression and for time being sleep on hard surface without foam mattress. You can take Vit B12 injections after consulting your local doctor. Level of compression will determine if meds and physiotherapy alone can help or surgery be needed.

Regards
