What Could Be The Reason For Pain In Legs After Starting Organic And Raw Food Diet?
Me and my wife started a new diet about a month ago of organic and raw foods, but here in the past couple weeks I have started having a lot of aches and pains, particularly pains in the muscles of my legs. Could this be like a detox side effect? And how long could this last?
This is probably due to general body weakness due to lack of well-balanced diet. Your body is responding negatively to such a limited diet. If you continue on such diets for long, you will definitely develop nutrient deficiencies as many nutrients are best absorbed by cooking foods. You have not mentioned what all foods you take. Are you eating only raw foods or cooked food also?.....Kindly let me know more in detail as to what you're eating. I am sure you are having nutritional deficiencies which are responsible for aches and pains. Only after I review your diet carefully can I tell you where you are going amiss and which nutrients are lacking in your diet. Such detox diets should not be followed for more than a day or two. Long periods of nutritional deprivation cause imbalances in the body leading to cramps, pains, skin changes and hair loss etc.
