What Could Be The Reason For My Doctor To Change Accupril Tablets For Arrow Quinapril?

Hi, my name is Carla. A 75 year old friend wonders why all of a sudden his doctor changed his Accupril tablets for Arrow quinapril.
If Arrow quinapril is exactly the same product as Accupril, why changing it???

Both are same –
If we want to change, generally a drug from a different class altogether (not even a drug from the same class) – is usually prescribed
Same drug from a different manufacturer generally means – the provider is not happy with the bio bioavailability of the particular product, but not the drug itself. Bioavailability may differ – depending on the manufacturing process…
The treating doctor alone can suggest further based on his assessment of the situation.
