What could be the reason for my 3 missed periods though all reports were normal and how can it be solved ?

Hi, I have missed 3 menstrual cycles following a d&c and my blood tests have come back clear. The doctor said if the tests are clear she can give me something to bring my periods on. Do you know what could be causing this and what I can be given to solve the issue?

General & Family Physician Dr. Padma Saikia's  Response

Welcome to HCM.

If your pregnancy test is negative then no need to worry. The reason for missed period could be stress, thyroid problem or even overweight or underweight.Since you already had a dnc done ,consult a doctor for appropriate treatment.Progesterone tablets can be used to induce menstruation.

Take care.
