What Could Be The Reason For Menstruation To Stop Suddenly And Increase In Belly Size?

I am women aged 48 . My menstrual cycle suddenly stopped completely from june 2013. Since then size of belly is increased . A am already overweight my wt is 80 kg and height is five feet is my belly size related to not having periods, how can i over come this problem I also feel some times i have gas trouble, what do you suggest to reduce belly size, fat and overall fat ?

Stoppage of menstruation after age of 45 years suggests menopause. Menopause is associated with symptoms like weight gain, hot flashes, mood swings and many other non specific symptoms. I suggest you get in touch with a gynecologist and get appropriate medication for menopause.
Weight gain can be managed by regular diet and exercise.
I suggest you calculate the number of calories you eat per day and start some form of regular exercise like brisk walking for about 45 minutes per day.
There are many calorie calculators available online which can help you plan a suitable diet regime based on your lifestyle.
