What Could Be The Reason For Having Numbness In My Left Thigh?
I have numbness in my left thigh from just above the knee to about one third below the hip. It is on the outside of thigh. Some pain inside my leg feels like burning and hurts inside when touched. Have had it about 1-2 weeks now. Feels better in a.m. when I get up but gets worse as day goes on. Numbness is like your face when you get freezing at dentist. ???
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The persistent numbness of the thigh can be due to a nerve root compression due to a mild disc prolapse at the level of lower lumbar spine. Proper physiotherapy and vit B12 supplements will help. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal , drtayal72@gmail.com
