What Could Be The Reason For Having Loose Bright Yellow Stools?

Hi I had a baby in November ever since I have been experiencing loose bright yellow stools. Before I go I experience lower abdominal pain with lower back pain and radiates down my legs and lasts for several hours after I go, its foul smelling as well. What could these symptoms be a sign of?

Hi,

I really appreciate your concern. It may not be due to any disease because what symptoms given here are not indicative of any disease, but if it is the mild condition of infection (Very low load of causative organism ) then it may give such symptoms and it may be chronic, and it can be managed on tentative basis with Tab Doxycycline 100 mg Tab Metronidazole 400 mg twice in day for at least five days. It is nothing to worry, and condition will be fine soon.

Hope this information helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain Shaikh
