What Could Be The Reason For Having Itching And Inflammation Followed By A Yellow Clumpy Discharge?

hi i have notice since october after a party in which i was in wet clothes the entire night the week after i developed itching & inflammation followed by a yellow clumpy discharge i assumed it was a yeast infection so i began treatin myself with the garlic home remedy which it appeared to have went away but kept coming back especially before my period. . . what could this be? help please
