What Could Be The Reason For Having Fever, Body Aches And Swollen Lymph Nodes After An Abortion?
i had an abortion on 02/09/14, i also started performing intercourse with my partner shortly after. Possibliy within a week. Its been a little over two weeks since the abortion and now im expericing lesions on my gentials as is my partner. they are sore and itchy, similar to HPV or Genital herpres but we have both been tested and dont see a possibility of that. I also have produced a fever of 101 to 102 for the past couple of days with body aches and swollen lymph nods. what could be happening?

Hi,
You had unprotected sexual relation and showing features of STI (lesion/ulcers , itching , pain, discharge ,....) probably syphilis/herpes .
You need to get reviewed in dermatology n veneral disease dept. accordingly treated .But till then maintain hygine , use barrier contraceptive ,locally apply betadine ointment and other supportive management .
