What Could Be The Reason For Having Dizziness And Fainting?

Yesterday I suddenly started to feel faint and dizzy (after I had eaten) and then my heart started beating really fast and I felt extremely hot and sweaty. I felt like I was going to faint and it took about 5 minutes to feel normal again. Afterwards my hands were shaking like crazy. What could this possibly be?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi . This can very well be due to anxiety or overexertion too. After food a big part of blood is diverted by the body to gastro-intestinal system. This can add on to the existing problem to give you what you had. Got corrected by body ( homeostasis ) within 5 minutes. But if you such attacks repeatedly, please consult a Doctor to get relevant tests.
