What Could Be The Reason For Burning Sensation While Passing Urine?
I was having frequent urination in Dec 2013 and I went to see a urologist and the following test were done. 1. Liver function test 2. Kidney function test 3. PSA Prostate test 4. Urine Culture All the test results were normal. He did inspection of the prostate and he thought that I had prostatis and he gave the following antibiotics Tavanic and Vibramycin. Subsequently I did the ultrasound and it was found that the prostate was normal and no signs of kidney stones. I also did the uroflow test which was normal but the residual volume of urine was 41 ml. (Ultrasound was done on 22nd Jan 2014) I took Tavanic only for five days as I was not able to sleep the whole night I discontinued it but I took vibramycin for 30 days. While taking these antibiotics I had burning sensation while passing urine and the doctor told me to drink too much water and things became better.(I took medicine from 31st Dec to 30th January 2014). On Feb 3rd when I visited the Urologist he said everything was fine. From 5th Feb 2014 I started having burning sensation while passing urine and again I did my urine culture and it was found normal. From 5th February to 20th February I had the burning sensation while passing urine and I used to get up 2 – 3 times in the night to pass urine (Which was never the case in my entire life). I again saw the Urologist and he said that I had no problem and told me to take Cystone and drink too much water and drank Cranberry juics. From 20th Feb to 26th Feb things were fine but again for last week I am having the same problem and also started having burning while passing stool. Night sleeps are disturbed and burning sensation in the penis is there always. Kindly advice
