What Could Be The Reason For Bleeding In 6th Week Of Pregnancy?

Hello Doctor,
I had my laproscopy in September this yr, and I was able to conceive in November, but I started Dronis in my mid cycle and took it for 24 days. now as I have conceived and its of 6 weeks, it is bleeding very light but regulary for 3 days. Blood threads are of red and sometimes dark red colour. Please guide me what is the current situation of my pregnancy and what is going to happen to it. My doctor is not telling anything clearly. Please help as I have waited for 4 years.

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Bleeding in early pregnancy can be seen in conditions due to:
-Growing gestational sac damaging blood vessels.
-Some women can bleed during their expected dates of menstruation.
-Increased blood supply to local genital organs.
-Miscarriage etc.
So, better to go for ultrasound once.
Ultrasound helps in finding out the possible cause of spotting.
If there are there are any signs of impending abortion, progesterone supplementation, bed rest, hydration etc can help.
Take care.
