What Could Be The Reason For Ankle Is Red And Swollen ?

I just started running about a week ago and the last two times I ran my ankle really hurt, despite the pain i went on another run and now am limping. My ankle is red and a little swollen and the pain is on the inside, runs a little up the front bone in my leg. Also weird but when i take a deep breath and exhale it throbbs really bad? Its been 4 days now and the inside bones hurts to the touch.
