What Could Be The Possible Reasons For My Headache Which Starts From My Eyes ?

i experience headache which starts from my eyes. then goes up and then the back portion of my head aches. It does not last for long but it is quite frequent. it increases when i am tired or in sun and when i cough i can feel the pain with jerks. My eyesight is not very weak. its -1 in both eyes. i am shortsightedness. what can be the possible reason ?please help.

Welcome to HealthcareMagic.

There are two possibilities in you.It could be either migraine or Trigeminal Neuralgia.Do you have any numbness of face ? Does the pain occur on face too ? If yes , it could be more of neuralgia.
As migraine being more common and your symptoms tend towards migraine , i advise you to visit your Physician and get evaluated.Migraine can be controlled by avoiding chocolates , stress and by having good amount of sleep , practicing yoga or meditation.You can also try Paracetmol to decrease the severity of headache.
