What Could Be The Confirmatory Test For Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome?

I am symptomatic of having Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. How can I talk to my doctor about running tests for this? I have hard, subcutaneous cysts, 1mm in diameter, palpable but not painful. Hyperlaxity, hyperextensive joints, polyarthropathy. Large eyes, translucent skin, early onset varicose veins. ALT and lymphocytes have been elevated since September. The liver is a lymphatic organ...could this be a connection between my undiagnosed ED or something else?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear,
Diagnosis of EDS is primarily clinical.
Some lab tests like biochemical studies and gene analysis are there, but are available in specialized labs only, and are mainly for research purpose.
Regarding liver enzymes and lymphocytes,I do not think it is from EDS.EDS is not a disease of lymphatic organs. It affects connective tissue disorder.
Take care,Thank you.
