What could be the cause of uncomfortable feeling on the left side of the ribs ?

Hi, I am 27 years old female.I feel uncomfortable on left side under my ribs.It is not paining but just feels uncomfortable like pressure on my ribs.It has been there from last one month, it comes and goes away for couple of days.I have gas.Can some tell me what it could be.I repeat it is not paining at all but just uncomfortable sometimes have to seat up straight to avoid the uncomfortable feeling. Thanks

Hi welcome to H.C.M.Forum. your problem is starting of gastric problem, called as gas problem. you should avoid taking spices, chillies, sour foods and juices. use much of curd and buttermilk. drinking ice water, and eating bland foods during discomfort will relieve it. if not relieved you need to use PPI and antacids with the advise of a doctor.thank you.
