What Could Be The Cause Of Soreness Of Thumb And Wrist? Is An X Ray Necessary?

Hi, I recently have had a sore area at the end of my thumb joint going down into my wrist which constantly feels sore and in certain positions, really hurts. I have had an xray but nothing is showing - I have been told to go to a physiotherapist but what can they do to help or can I do something myself?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain in the thumb and wrists is likely to be due to tendonitis or carpal tunnel syndrome. You need to consult an orthopedician for a physical examination and get the proper brace and medicines to help.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
