What Could Be The Cause Of Scalp Pimple On 2 Months Old Baby ?
Hi doctor . my baby is 2 months and has a big pimple with pus (im not sure if its abscess ). this is the second one, because she had one 2 weeks ago. what could be the cause?

when i went through your baby's case,you should produce a snap of your babys pimple as wht u hav written,location of the same, she is having a tendency,a chance for the recurrence of this eruption,do mention the symptoms and give a detailed info abt the case.

its infection of the hair follicle in scalp region.its due to damage of skin over it or introduction of foreign material at the region.u keep the area dry.if the pus is collected it has to be drained in sterile conditions by a doctor.to prevent further enlargement antibiotics should be used as ampicillin or augmantin or clavam.if its paining give baby some paracetamol drops.hope this answer helps you

just recurrent infection can be the cause. need to drain it if its big enough & needs antibiotic. keep the scalp clean & treat this abcess completely.

welcome to healthcare magic,
when i went through your baby's case,you should produce a snap of your babys pimple as wht u hav written, she is having a tendency,a chance for the recurrence of this scalp pimple,you cud very well massage the baby oil on to the scalp or else a baby powder could be used aftr havin a scalp hygiene with a water rinse.
The cause is idiopathic,but it could occur when microorganisms like yeast,mites,bacteria stay in the scalp environment and thus the scalp pimple tends to break out.
so dont worry of this fact,homoeopathic medicines cud really help in preventing the recurrency of the attack as well as bring into the permanent cure.
