Hi,
After using an emergency contraceptive pill, you can see a withdrawal bleed as the pill disturbs the normal hormonal balance of the body owing to its high hormonal content. You can also expect your next normal period to get delayed by a week or two. Protection given varies with the time taken after intercourse to have the pill and it varies from 99-85 percent. Protection dwindles after 72 hours. Please get help from an expert in person if you do not see your period even ten days after it is due. Hope this helps.
