What Could Be The Cause Of Experiencing A Rapid, Intermittent Beating Type Sensation Underneath Chin?

I am experiencing a rapid, intermittent beating type sensation underneath my chin. I have had Gamma Knife for trigeminal neuralgia in 2002, as well as Cybberknife in 2006 (with loss of sensation to my right cornea). Could this chin sensation be a side-effect from the condition or the treatment?
