What Could Be The Cause Of Dizziness, Ear Pain, Headache And Pressure Sensation In Throat?

Hello about 3 years ago I started feeling pressure on the right side of my throat (always there). Went for an xray and nothing appeared. 5 months ago a pain appeared in the top of my head (golf ball size pain/no lump . Now I am having fullness/pain from my top of my ear , back of my head and down my neck (2 months). I see a Neurologist on Friday. Just wondering what this maybe? I also have dizziness and confusion every now and then.

Hi Dear ,

As per your query you have dizziness , ear pain , headache and pressure sensation in throat . We the symptoms you mention in query are pointing towards a condition known as meniere's disease . Meniere’s disease is a disorder that affects the inner ear. It appears to be the result of the abnormal volume or composition of fluid in the inner ear. There are number of potential causes or triggers like Improper fluid drainage, Abnormal immune response , Allergies , Viral infection . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order balancing test , hearing test , Electrocochleography , rotatory chair test and CT scan and rule out condition like upper respiratory track infection . Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drugs , antibiotics ( Gentamicin ) and diuretics . For now avoid bending forward , take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
