What Could Be The Cause For Pink Spotting?

My period was almost two weeks late, it started out as light pink and brown for a day, the next day it became very dark red mixed with the brown, it stayed that way for 3-4 days then stopped, the bleeding wasnt heavy and i was only in pain the first day when it was pink and brown. After it stopped i had intercourse and a day or two later i began spotting again in pink, dark red almost blackish brown, the spotting has stayed and has turned to very dark almost black red, its not heavy though. This has never happened to me, i feel exhausted and just awful. Im not sure what to think at all. None of the bleeding is heavy enough or similar looking to my regular periods at all.

Hi,
You might be having irregular and clotted blood bleeding probably due to anovulation. It is common near menopause so can you tell me your age . Also you can take tablet tranexamic acid for the bleed. It will reduce it. Also it can be due to pregnancy and to confirm it i want you to do a pregnancy test with a UPT kit . It costs cheap and is available in all pharmacy. The instructions on how to use it & how to read the test is given on the Kit Box .Contact us with the test report for further help
