Hello, I'm a 22 yr old Uni student and since about 17-18 there's been something wrong with me that's affected me on a daily basis from studies, socialising (i stutter in my speech). The problem I face each day is that after every meal I feel bowel discomfort and usually have to go to the loo within an hour after eating to pass stool. During this post-meal phase (before going bathroom), I feel stress on my head which builds and the discomfort in the bowel intensifies to such an extent it makes me progressively more tired and there are times where I feel like doing nothing and it seems hard work just to walk to the bathroom.
After I've passed the stool, my stomach becomes empty and I feel very hungry. I feel the need to eat every 2-3 hours in a day and it's a Continuous cycle after each meal with the bowel discomfort followed by hunger. I'm not passing diahorrea and doctors say it's not due to malabsorption I've been told it's just IBS and it's something that I have to manage and just live with.
I literally can't live a proper life and in the verge of breaking down, I'm making a desperate plea to help me overcome this; I have visited my doctor at least a dozen times over the past 5-6 years, and still I have yet to see a specialist despite the fact I've been living in such a state of pain everyday all these years. Thank you for your time and patience.
PS apologies for the essay
