What Could Be The After Effects Of Typhoid?

Hi..I was down with fever starting from 19th June to 3rd July.. The typhoid was detected on 24th June..Then had been admitted in the hospital for 11 days and discharged on 7th July.Then I was on rest for 10 days and resumed my job after that.I am mostly on a very light diet since then but still fill that my intestine is not holding up whatever i eat. I am not sure if it is indigestion or constipation. Taking UNIENZYME tablets since last 3 days for better digestion.Can you please tell me if these are the after effects of typhoid damage.

Hai,

typhoid infection will cause certain damage to the intestine wall. as medically it will damage the inner lining (payers patches) of intestine. that may even lead to hemorrhage.
depends upon the severity of the damage in the intestinal wall recovery time will be changed.
because of the disturbed intestinal integrity bowel movement system get impaired and lost their normal function.
it will recover with proper diet plan and restriction to spicy,fried,complex foods.
lot of fluids,fruits and vegetables(vitamin C containing ) will help in healing the condition.
