General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thank you for posting.

I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns.

You probably are infected by a seasonal virus and symptoms that you are experiencing are caused by a complication of the virus.

To improve your health condition follow these advises:
1. Drink a lot of liquids such as hot tea.
2. Bed rest is also recommended.

To confirm the diagnosis you need:
1. Strep test.
2. Complete blood count.
3. Liver function test.
4. Urine test.

The results will help your doctor in determining the treatment.

Consult your otorhinolaryngologist.

Take Care.
Dr. Behar.
