What Causes Yellowish Watery Discharge Through Anus Of A Baby?

Hi my baby is 3 months old and I saw a light yellowish watery discharge from the anus. I saw it after giving him a bath today. It seems the few drops came on it own without the baby exerting any pressure. Baby is combining breast milk and formular. Baby is been having slightly loose stools for the past 2 weeks due to what the doctors says is a rota virus infection which they said will resolve by it self. What do you think should causing this yellowish discharge. Thank you.
