General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It seems to be colitis like infective condition as mucus and blood both present. You should get investigated with stool routine micro examination and if needed stool culture to be done. It can be bacterial or amebic dysentery as well. According to report further medication is decided.

Empirically broad spectrum combination antibiotics given like Ofloxacin plus Ornidazole. Avoid excess spicy foods. Drink more water. Consult physician for examination and discuss all these.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
