What Causes Yellow Brown Saliva, Pharyngitis, Gastritis And GERD?

Can I ask? Eveytime I woke up, and I spit the color of my saliva yellow brown , like rust. And I saw that there's a dot blood. I exprience this only wen I have a problem n my throat like there's a lamp of food stuck. Then the doctor said it was a paryxgitis, gastritis and Gerd. Maybe 3months now. But actually I feel slight not more previous month that creased n my throat.

Hi dear ,

The symptoms you mention in query are occurreing due to acidic reflux .

This occur due to dysfunctioning of upper esophageal sphincter .

The acidic content from the stomach come upwards and cause irritation to the mucosa of throat and make it swelled and bleed .

This is the reason why your are feeling lump in throat and blood dots .

Eat light and non spicy food specially food , avoid eat at night , sleep with your head elevated and do warm saline gargles .

Consult gastroenterologist for proper diagnosis and rule out cause like upper respiratory track infection . Doctor may order test like endoscopy of esophagus , X-ray of upper digestive track anf blood test for infection. Doctor may prescribe ranitidine and omeprazole .
