What Causes Whooshing Sound In Ear And Dizziness?

Hi I am a 38yr old female with diabetes for 17yrs, I hv a whooshing water sound in my left ear from time to time and I cannot keep my balance most times. I used to wear high shoes but cant anymore as I am unable to keep myself steady and balanced. What could be my problem??

Hi there,
You are having Vertigo, it causes dizziness and difficultly in movement.Do you have nausea and vomiting associated with it ?? Its always best to do an equilibrium test and it's potentially unsafe to drive if you have this problem. You can take tab.betahistamine 8mg three times daily for 2 weeks it will relieve your symptoms. You should review with your ent physician or a neurologist if symptoms persists.
