What Causes Whole Body Itching After Knee Replacement Surgery?
My husband had knee replacement surgery 7 months ago and he started itching in the hospital. Drs. thought he was allergic to pain medicine so they changed his medicine. He continued to have itching and still now he continues to have itching all over his body. He doesn t have a rash. This all started right after his surgery. It isn t 24/7 but at random times. Do you know why this may have started after surgery?

There could be multiple reasons of the itching. I suggest you to meet a dermatologist for a proper analysis of the same. Till that time you can apply calamine lotion. All the best
