What Causes White Vaginal Discharge Along With Itching?

I ve had a white vaginal discharge and itchiness on and off for several weeks (that I now think is due to an allergic reaction to something.) I have been tested for yeast and other infections and it is negative. The doctor prescribed boric acid which I used for two weeks and that didn t solve my issue as the discharge came back after I drank red wine. Thinking that it could still be a yeast infection ( I heard that there are different strands), I put a garlic clove up there in the morning and removed it after a couple if hours. Now there is no discharge but the area is burning. What can I do to get some relief?

The symptoms you had mentioned are mostly suggestive of fungal infection. For treatment you can take some antibiotic preferably cefadroxyl or oflox-oz after an expert advice along with cetrizine or avil for severe itching. You can use candid-b powder for local application or clingen-forte vaginal pessary to put into your vagina. Maintain the hygiene of local part either by washing with soap water or you can use v-wash vaginal gel.
