What Causes White Spots At The Back Of The Throat With Pain?

I've been having a sore throat for the past few days. Two days ago it was only a small little sore throat, same as yesterday except I noticed it had a few white spots nothing to bad. And today I woke up with it hurting a lot more and the back of my throat had some orange spots. What is that?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain white pustules at the back of throat along with throat pain seems to be probably due to a severe case of bacterial throat infection known as Strep Throat..
Orange spots at the back of throat seems to be due to Granular Pharyngitis..
White pustules are pus pockets that further confirms towards bacterial infection.
For confirmation consult an Otolaryngologist or an ENT expert and get evaluated..
He can do investigations like Throat swab culture can help in diagnosis..

You can be advised:
-Antibiotics like Augmentin OR Azithromycin to resolve the infection..
-Anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen can be taken to relive pain. -----Doing warm saline gargles, steam inhalation and using a humidifier in your room can be very much relieving.
-You can also suck throat lozenges to soothe the throat..
-Gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine..
-Gargle with antiseptic solution like few drops of betadine in water..
-Chew Vitamin C pellets to boost up the immunity..
-Avoid spicy and chilled foods..
