What Causes White Spot On Iris After Cataract Operation?

Last year my mother had cataract opration, at that time there is no problem with eyes, but from last 2 month there is white spot on top of iris, have discussed with doctore for the same, as per doctore if wthie spot will increase in size then it should be oprate . Pls suggest

first it is to be confirmed the white spot is in cornea or iris. you have not informed about problem she is facing. whether vision has been effected.?if-no then why to worry. keep watch on spot and wait.
