General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
What you are experiencing is just a superficial skin infection of hair follicles and not STD.
Kindly clean the area with warm water using mild antiseptic like Savlon twice daily.
Kindly apply Clindamycin cream on the lesions after drying the area with clean towel.
You can also take antiinflammatory tablet Ibuprofen for a couple of days.
Slowly, the infection should subside and the lesions should disappear.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
