What Causes White Itchy Patch On Scrotum?

I have a white itchy, very itchy patch of skin on my scrotum. No other symptoms. Appeared three weeks ago and the irritation has only gotten worse. I m married and have had no sexual contact with another woman except my wife but I just learned that she has been unfaithful. Does this sound like something I should get checked out?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hey.

Welcome to HCM.

White, itchy patch on your scrotum may be due to fungal infection.

I will advise you to get it checked by a doctor near you, so that after confirming the diagnosis, appropriate medicines can be prescribed to you.

If it is a fungal infection, then you will need to use a topical anti-fungal cream, twice daily for 7-14 days.

Also maintain personal hygiene. Try to keep your genital area dry and clean.

Hope i have answered your question. If you have any other questions, then i will be happy to answer it.

Take good care.

Warm Regards.
Dr. Surender sharma.
