What Causes White Itching Substance Surrounding The Vagina?
On the opening of my vagina, there is a white itchy substance surrounding it. There is no discharge so im pretty sure it s not a yeast infection. Im also not having sex , and I was just tested for stds, so I know it s not an std. Today was my last day of bacterial vaginosis medication. I can t figure out for the life of me what this is and it is so irritating. Could you please help. I d like to know what it is and possible treatments for it. Please and thank you :)
Whenever it comes to a presentation that requires a visual examination it would be best to make use of our premium service wherein you can attach pictures to the discussion.
From the current description (although I could be incorrect due to an absent visual examination) it does sound like a yeast infection. The use of antibiotics can cause an imbalance in the vaginal Ph, making it more susceptible to fungal infections. We cannot rule it out simply because there is no discharge.
Please visit a doctor or write to me using our premijm service and attaching pictures to our discussion. Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
