What Causes White Head Pimples On The Diaper Area?

I have 2 two year old twins that both have tiny white head type pimples on their diaper area. I was told at their day care that they think it may be chickenpox? I brought the one that first had the rash to doc. She was not convinvced that it is chickenpox? That is what they are going with for now?My mom who is a skin specialist nurse thinks it may be impetigo? The one little guy that I brought to doc today has been complainig of back and head pain and has had a bad cough for over 3 weeks and had a fever as high as 102.00 two days ago. The other twin has had no fever , but has the cough as well. Any info would be great! I m thinking about taking them to er tomorrow if the rash stays around that area. Thank you!

Hi, these are diaper rash, if diaper rashes are present for some time then chances of candida (fungal) infection. I think that the diaper rash has worsened and fungal infection has occurred. I suggest you to apply candid-b cream three times a day for 5 days. Avoid use of diaper for some time. Your smaller child has also got fever, i think he needs to be examined thoroughly so take him to doctor. I can assure you that this is not chicken pox. I hope this has helped you.
