What Causes White Discharge From Breasts With Missed Periods Post Ablation And Tubal?

Hi I am 35. I had an ablation and tubal 10 years ago. Have not had a period since. Today my breasts started leaking stuff that looks like colostrum. It freaked me out so I took a pregnancy test to make sure. It was negative. What could be wrong with me?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hey, I have reviewed your query.
I would like to tell you that there are many reasons other than pregnancy which can make your breasts to produce milk. It is mainly hormonal imbalance.

Hormonal imbalance can be due to number of reasons. You should get your prolactin levels, beta hcg levels checked in blood and consult an endocrinologist.

Have a nice day.
